Jungle Shower
This was the shower in the second backpacker hostel we stayed at in Okinawa. The hostel was really nice! Much newer than the first place we stayed at and with an exotic theme throughout.
This shower really made my day because it came after a long day on an island, scuba-diving, snorkelling and rock-hopping. I was sweaty and salty and dead-tired so when I stumbled to the roof (which was where the showers and a bar were) seeing this shower made me smile.
It opens up to the sky and looks like something you’d find in a travel magazine! The only downside to it was that it was the only working shower out of the total three that the hostel had.
