Liberty-sama
For some reason unknown to me, there’s a Statue of Liberty in Odaiba, Tokyo.
Actually, I lie. I do know the reason. There’s two Statues of Liberty, right? One in New York and one in Paris. A few years ago, Japan had some kind of France themed year (like, say, International Year of Children) because the Japanese are obsessed with all things French.
During that year, the French Statue of Liberty was lent to the Japanese government and displayed in Odaiba. When it was time for the statue to go home, a copy was made to take it’s place. This is the copy. It’s not very tall.
