Chinese Lion
I love these things!
I’m not sure if it was either a grand opening or just a good-luck-for-the-new-year ceremony (the theory is the more lions there are, the more important the ceremony is) but there were 6 lion dancer pairs performing outside a Sogo department store, next to the Avenue of the Stars.
I got video of the whole thing. I think I was pretty lucky to see it, I even got bumped by one of the lions (a lucky sign, apparently). The whole thing was absolutely, freaking sugoi and it put a grin on my face for the rest of the day.
